How games fit into battles and the game list
XP Battles runs skill-based battles using a set of games. Each battle lists which games are included; one entry gives you access to all of them. You spend Bucks to play and earn XP; your total XP sets your rank in that battle.
How games fit into battles
- Lobby — After entering a battle, you see the list of available games (e.g. Mines, Hi/Lo, Keno, Tower, Coin Flip).
- Choose a game — Click a game to open it. You'll choose a cost (Bucks to spend) per round or per game, then play.
- Earn XP — Each game has its own XP formula (win/loss, streaks, special achievements). XP is awarded server-side and updates your battle leaderboard in real time.
- Bucks — Bucks are consumed when you play. When you're out of Bucks, you can't play more (unless the battle offers top-ups or daily chests).
Game list (current and planned)
| Game | Description | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Mines | Reveal tiles; avoid mines. Cash out anytime. | Live |
| Hi/Lo | Predict if the next card is higher or lower. | Live |
| Keno | Pick numbers; match draws for payouts and XP. | Live |
| Tower | Climb floors by choosing safe paths; cash out or risk. | Live / Soon |
| Coin Flip | Heads or tails; simple, fast. | Live |
| Slots | Spin-based game with XP on outcomes. | Live / Soon |
| Blackjack | Classic 21; single-player and multiplayer modes. | Live / Soon |
| Crash | Multiplier rises; cash out before it crashes. | Coming soon |
| Dice | Dice-based outcome game. | Coming soon |
Which games are playable in a given battle depends on that battle's configuration. Games marked "Coming soon" may appear in battle lists but show a "Coming soon" state until released.
Provably fair (where applicable)
For games where outcome is random (e.g. Mines, Keno), we use server-seeded logic so that results can be verified. You get a fair, auditable outcome; we don't control the result after the seed is set.
Strategy in battles
- Bucks budget — You have limited Bucks. Higher cost per round = more XP on a win but faster drain on a loss.
- Streaks — In games like Hi/Lo, streaks multiply XP; cashing out banks XP but resets the streak.
- Time — Battles are time-limited. Balance "play many rounds" vs "play fewer, higher-cost rounds" to maximize XP before the clock runs out.
