XP Battles

Delegation

Liquidity providers and delegated play (coming soon)

We plan to support delegation: a liquidity provider can allow another player to compete in battles under their delegated position. The provider supplies the liquidity (e.g. deposit or entry stake); the delegated player plays the games and earns XP and rank on that position. The two parties agree on how to split any profits (e.g. prizes, yield). Arrangements can be free (e.g. practice or community play) or paid (e.g. the player pays the provider a fee or share for the right to play).

  • Liquidity provider — Puts up capital; chooses who can play under their position and sets the profit split.
  • Delegated player — Plays battles using the provider’s position; results (XP, rank, prizes) apply to that position; split is paid per the agreement.

Exact mechanics, eligibility, and terms will be defined when the feature launches.

Why liquidity matters for no-loss battles

The no-loss battle concept depends on liquidity. No-loss passes let eligible users enter battles without risking their principal: they deposit into a protected product (e.g. yield-bearing or principal-protected pool), and that liquidity backs their battle entries. Prizes and yield come from the pool and battle activity, not from the player’s principal. Without sufficient liquidity, we cannot offer no-loss entries at scale. Delegation will allow more participants to provide and use that liquidity—so more players can access no-loss-style play while providers earn a share of the upside.
